Year end

Cant imagine it's end of Oct...that means another 2 months 2007 will become history. Wow, I have been back for almost 2 years...have achieved a lot this year and things have changed a lot too...one of the things is of course my boy is finally "nearer" me...I can actually see him more often this year so it's not so bad after all...my dream almost comes true...only a bit more to go... 5 years la on and off long distance. i am such a patient girl. some of my friends actually "drop their glasses" as they wouldnt have thought that my heart only belongs to someone. I did not actually go see other guys not even one!

Well I have become quiet about my social life, too. Being in such a lively environment I actually spend more time at home then outside. I guess I just miss the life in Sydney chilling out with close friends at coogee beach or double bay on a sat nite or sun afternoon. I don't like hanging out around noisy places..they actually make me sick and uncomfortable.

Maybe I just want to settle down...

feeling cooking tonite...on a thur nite? my mom asked me if i was being silly ... i am making muffins ar...at 10:30pm... i guess i am really bored!! but the process made me so satisfied... i like to watch ppl eat my food, nice food of course! so sweaty right now watching in front of the oven...hehe but the muffins smell so nice! hope my workmates will like them

Crazy week

I had such an extreme week from work. On Monday, the day before the labor holiday, we had to stay back OT till 9, not to mention we did not even go out for lunch at all! I turned up to work at 8 worked straight till 9. It was such a nitemare for me. So tired, so tired but you still need to work. HO SUN FU ar... My boss even suggested us to come back on Labor day...Hello work on Labor day? Isn't it violating the whole labour thingy? Neither of my colleagues would want to come back so we kicked our butts and kept working like a machine...inputing inputing, hoping we would finish off soon.

Labor day - yeh stayed home in the morning and watched my fav food channel. Then went yum cha with my relatives, it was nice to catch up with them esp my 2 lovely cousins. They are still so cute. Have to admit they are way smarter than us when we were kids back then. U think they are not listening to you while they're concentrating on their NDS or whatever?? you are totally wrong! U wouldnt believe when they, out of no where, give you a feedback. ?!?! aiya...when will I have my own kids lei? so wanna be a young mother tim.. . Anyway, after yum cha went shopping with dad and bro for mother's day. Decided to buy a paif of nice elegant but still "IN" sunnies for mom. mom will become soooo COOL... I always wanna buy one but too expensive dun wanna waste $...Still bought a paif of black glasses to wear to work..hehe I look more mature lu :) no more 15 year old pls? ok?

Thur and Fri - very laid back day of work I have to say... My boss nominated my colleague and me to be the trainers for new joiners. Wow, that's like a super exciting challenge for me. Presentations are never my strengths. U might say I am pessimistic, but I am not sure if my boss really think i am capable or it is just no one else wanna take it... so yeah a very strange feeling right now...

Imperfection

An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a
pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always

delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot

arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only

one and a half pots of water.

Of course , the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable

that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman

one day by the stream:

"I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to
leak out all the way back to your house."

The old woman smiled, "Did you notice that there are flowers on your side

of the path, but not on the other pot's side?"

"That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower

seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you

water them."

"For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate

the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to

grace the house."

E ach of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each

have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the
good in them

Year of Pig...

Another year lu...It's been a year since I was back from overseas. Never imagine I could stay in HK this longe lol. Still not sure whether i made the right decision but at least i can spend more time with my lovely family, and a good job, and friends.

To be honest i am still getting used to living with family. You know after a long time being on your own, you have lots of habbits (yeh..) which your parents might complain about. Well, I have my own cozy room so I dont complain lor ...

Anyway, new year...I wish everyone a good wealthy healthy happy new year. all the bad lucks go away! to me i wish myself a more positive year, i want to be a happy girl again. no more black faces...prettier slimmer hahahhahahhahahhahah... no more long d... (so if you are reading this...fai d earn more $$ and get your bum here asap hehe...)

ho hoi sum, i am meeting my old friend, Nana today! I miss her so much ar she used to my coffee and shopping buddy in Aust... She always drove me around looking for nice cafes. we had so much nice memories. I am happy for her to be a mom of 2 little dogs...and of course happy for her to find her one! When are you getting married jei! i will definitely come back for your wedding!

V day? I never really have a proper V day not that i dun have a loved one. I do but it's just too far away to celebrate together. Therefore, I only get to admire other couples how sweet they can spend it together...This year as usual i will be on my own. Nothing to complain about or upset about becos it's me to make it this way. I am used to it anyway...3 years you have to get over it. My relationship is happy and sweet, a lot of ppl admire us becos we are loyal to each other ..3 years of on and off long distance we are still capable of keeping it, it is still strong. it's actually quite unbelievable ... i am proud of him and myself as we are able to be resistant against temptations. well I am anyway haha...

Yeah i am trying to make myself feel better ...it can be quite depressing walking on the st watching other ppl kissy kissy while i am kissy kissy on the phone lol... (thanks to 3G or i cant even do the kissy part...)

I just hope this situation will end soon...I really really want to spend my rest of my time with this guy...hope he will feel the same lah...

sorry guys i am not trying to show off anything just need space to say it out loud... hope u guys understand and can bare with me...

Routine

I am a considerably disciplined person. I mean I do things regularly, I dont like changes. They make me nervous and unprepared. That's why i wake up early giving myself enough time to get dressed, eat breakfast, walk to the ferry, sit at the same seat (if possible), eat the same thing for lunch etc etc, sleep at the same time during the week etc. I get grumpy if i went to bed late, i get upset if they made my coffee wrong, I get nervous if i heard the final call for the ferry even though there were heaps of ppl lining up still... basically I like my lifestyle having certain patterns. I know for some ppl they cannot bear such a boring routine but to me at least i wont be too disappointed. I have controls.

On the other side, you might say i am too predictable...maybe...but its not such a bad thing is it? :) you no exactly what i want and what i dislike. I am a boring ppl i must say. I dont have many friends like my friends do. THey have glamorous weekends weeks after weeks... Few years back I might be looking forward to weekends like that. these days, I enjoy my weekends with my close friends or my cousins, it might be just dinner, movies, shopping and coffee but I get to spend time with them get to know them and no more black faces :P.

I am glad i have friends like u ( u know who u guys are :) ) Thank you for giving me a nice and unique name :) I actually like it :) stupid but cute! ppl will make sure look after me cos of such a stupid n silly nick hahhaa....

Satisfaction

Feeling so so lazy this morning. I got up at 8 (really dun no why i had to get up this early on a Sat) and looked outside, wow so freaking cold man...still i got up and had breakfast (cold cereal, mind u i could have hot soup but I decided not to) went back to my comfortable bed watched TV while having my yummy cereal. I felt cozy...To ppl who don know me well enough would wonder why a cold cereal on a cold day would be consided as cozy haha. I tell you the second i wake up I feel like cereal. At lunch time, I would run down to the supermarket to get milk for cereal. there are 3 boxes of cereal (2 were imported by me in NZ) sitting in my office. Needless to say, as of today I have 6 at home. all from NZ. Yes, I brought back 9 packs of cereals from my last vacation in Kiwiland. Instead of clothes or honey which ppl normally would stuff their suitcase, I fill up with boxes of my energy sources and cookies...

You see I am a strange person. I dont obsess with clothes or brands anymore...well see what labels you are referring to...labels like kelloggs, uncle tobys or Vogels yes i am still very much obsessed. However, I am happy during my grocery shopping exps. Of course if u went with your loved ones, its a bonus! But mind you he/she might bugg you every second lane. I find my satisfaction in small things like grocery shopping and a cup of good coffee (oh yeh i am having one now...). I dont feel the same in bags or jeweleries. I would start worrying whether the bag will be out of fashion the second i bought it. What's the point. Thus, i would only buy these things when I consider they would last a long time...and therefore, you would find me black and white all the time ..haha boring but i wear them for years...The bags/clothes you see me carrying, most of them were 3-4 years +

I guess what i am trying to say is, as u grow there will be diff things you want to look for, cherishing ur friends, family, brand names, money, love, lifestyle or even career. It's all up to you. It's you who decides what is important to you and what satisfies you.

Right now, I am all satisfied ... well maybe another cup of coffee would do me even better! :P

Christmas was gone already? It's just like a blink in my eye... :( not cool cos that means another week then I will be back to reality. To be honest, I feel great to be back. Not only becos my baby is here it's also the life i feel great about. I know I used to complain about the boredem but I guess you can never have everything. Nothing is perfect. Now that I am back in HK, so what? I complain the noise there, I give shits about the ppl there, how rude they are and how selfish they are. Okay, I dun like anywhere, I just want to be with my loved ones. It's hard to choose being that my family is in one part my baby in another. I only have one heart...how can i share. sigh.
